KINESIOLOGY for animals

Animal kinesiology

The principles of animal kinesiology are the same as those of kinesiology for humans. Animals respond very well to this natural form of therapy as they do not question it, but simply accept it and immediately feel that it is good for them.

Animal kinesiology is based on the same comprehensive system diagnosis as in humans. As the muscle test cannot be used directly on an animal, I work with the surrogate method. Surrogate means ‘representative’ or ‘mediator’, in animal kinesiology this is the owner or the animal's carer.

As various factors affect the animal and its well-being, the animal is considered in the context of its owner, its family, its entire environment and other possible stress factors. The aim of animal kinesiology is to use muscle testing to identify the causes of our pet's difficulties and offer them the best possible help in overcoming them.

Not every animal can be brought into the practice. In this case, the carer takes hair and a recent photo of the animal to be represented so that I, as the therapist, can get a good idea of the animal. At the beginning of the kinesiological session, the animal is also asked for its permission. If the animal refuses treatment, I accept this and end the kinesiological session.

Important: Animal kinesiology does not replace a vet! However, it can have a supportive effect.

Animal kinesiology helps with:

  • Behavioural abnormalities

  • Attitude and educational problems

  • Improving the human-animal or animal-animal relationship

  • Anxiety or stress in certain situations

  • Psychological imbalance (aggression, trauma, grief

  • Health support

  • Food intolerance

  • Chronic diseases

  • Lack of house-training

  • Skin problems

  • Complaints of the musculoskeletal system

  • End-of-life care
